Al-Bakhit Group became involved in this field and started the Al-Hamdeen project for agricultural and livestock production, which is located in the Al-Salit area with large and huge areas. It is an agricultural land that contains an integrated model farm that includes the following:

1-Dairy farm

dairy farm is an agricultural institution that raises animals for milk production, processing cows and selling them directly or through points of sale. They may also sell male calves for meat production or raise bulls based on bull quality. Farms grow food like corn or hay, which cows are fed or stored in preserved fodder. They have equipped barns, buildings, and equipment for raising cows and calves, as well as electrical current and potable water sources. These facilities ensure the sustainability of the dairy industry.

2.Fattening calves

Fattening is a crucial process in dairy farms where male calves are used and fattened to increase their weight to 400-450 kg. This cycle lasts up to 6 months and is used to sell to slaughter companies or customers. The farm’s location facilitates the process of transporting calves for sale.

3- Poultry farming

The Sudanese Ministry of Health oversees the raising of poultry birds, including chickens, for meat and eggs to meet market and consumer needs. Laying chickens produce 40% of poultry pounds and 35% of eggs, while intensive production involves 40% and 35% of eggs. Nationally approved medicines, such as antibiotics, are used to treat diseases and prevent their spread. Farms have equipped barns with the necessary electrical current to ensure proper temperature control for the production cycle.
